![]() What you pick here will highly depend on the type and level of key you are running and how confident you are in yourself and your party, but the additional 5 points make it a lot more realistic to actually go for the capstone talents now. Ancestral Guidance is a very helpful healing tool for mythic+ (and maybe some raid encounters) and Poison Cleansing Totem can help out in specific dungeons like Academy. For Liquid Magma Totem builds, we will be running Totemic Recall to reset its cooldown every 2 minutes. Taking a quick look at the class tree, we are still in the situation where we are spending our points very freely with only very few nodes actually being required (i.e. Summing up, the Lightning Builds don't really get anything exciting that actually changes the builds significantly between Pre-patch and Dragonflight.įire builds are in comparison very open-ended, and the additional 5 points offer a lot of different options that change around the playstyle in varying degrees and can be adjusted both to your personal preferences and the requirements of the fight. You will bolster both builds with Elemental Blast and Mountains Will Fall to benefit more from your spenders and your tier set. ![]() In a single-target you will focus on Windspeaker's Lava Resurgence and for the AoE build you will be getting back Echoes of Great Sundering or Elemental Equilibrium depending on which you skipped in prepatch. Magma Chamber directly increases the damage of your Earthquakes, whereas Ascendance(+ Further Beyond) will benefit from the extra haste massively, enabling you to extend its duration for far over a minute.Īll Lightning-Focused builds are mostly concerned with trying to get their legendaries back. To benefit from the additional Flame Shocks, you can add Magma Chamber and Ascendance on top of this. You can put some points into Liquid Magma Totem and Totemic Recall, allowing you to spread your Flame Shocks very reliably and easily. If you are focussing more on AoE with your Fire Build you will instead get back the Necrolord covenant you lost by speccing into Primordial Wave and Splintered Elements. To go a little more in depth for the Fire builds: Currently we have at least 5 different builds that all perform roughly equal in sims and play testing, some are using Icefury and Flux Melting, some are using Surge of Power and Stormkeeper, and some opting to focus purely on throwing out Lava Bursts with Deeply Rooted Elements or Ascendance. Most builds that can be made with that are very close to each other performance-wise, and different options will pull ahead depending on your stat breakdown. This will enable you to get even more out of your Lava Burst casts and increase the strength of your Single Target spender significantly. In Fire-centric Single Target builds that are already running Primordial Surge, you can get Elemental Blast, Mountains Will Fall, Windspeaker's Lava Resurgence or Deeply Rooted Elements(+ Further Beyond) on top of it.
